This year's event introduced an exciting element: a live auction featuring a one-of-a-kind custom fashion piece by local designer Adrienne Young. Raised in Pagosa Springs, Young pursued her passion for fashion by studying and working in Los Angeles for eight years before returning home to continue her craft. Now back in her hometown, she creates custom pieces from her home studio and has designed for Thingamajig Theatre.
For this special auction, Young created two stunning renderings for bidders to choose from—an elegant gown and a luxurious robe. Both pieces, titled "The Designs of Many Colors," are crafted from vintage scarves and draw inspiration from Dolly Parton's beloved song "Coat of Many Colors" and its empowering message. The highest bidder will select which design Young will tailor-make exclusively for them. |
