9th Annual Push Up Challenge 
Month Long Virtual Fitness Challenge.  A fun, friendly competition to push-up victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Archuleta County.

Who can YOU challenge?

THE CHALLENGE: 35,490 total Push-Ups in the month of April 
 
Why 35,490? (That seems like a lot)
Every 73 seconds someone is sexually assaulted = 1,183 every day or 35,490 for the 30 days of April.
How many push-ups can we do together to support victims and survivors in our community?

COST
Registration is $25.  We hope each participant will seeks pledges based on their push-up goal.  Getting pledges is easy – ask friends and family to support you. They love to see you strong and healthy! You are challenged to raise $250.  You can do this!
*when you register you have access to our fundraising platform that makes it easy to share on social media or through email to get pledges!


PRIZES (Coming Soon)
 - For the person who recruits the most people to participate in the challenge.  *They must list you on their registration form. 
- For push-ups done in the most unusual place.  *You must post a picture or video to our Facebook group or Instagram to be eligible.  Use

 - For the person who wears the best costume while doing push-ups  
*You must post a picture or video to our Facebook group or Instagram to be eligible.  Use #Rise2022pushup​
 - For the person who does the most regular push-ups in the month.  *You must use our tracker app to be eligible.
 - For the person who raises the most money during the month.


Prize packages to be announced - will be gift cards and goodies from local restaurants, shops, and/or adventures.

THE RULES
1) Do push-ups any way you can, anywhere you can.  
Push yourself to have good form and do as many regular push-ups as you can.  But knee push-ups count and help make you stronger!

2) Share with friends and family to help raise awareness and much needed funds
3) Update our tracker pager to be eligible for prizes (you will get information on how to do this after you register)

Tools to help!
Challenges for 3 different fitness levels to help us meet our goal (Click below to print the challenge)
  • Beginner PDF - builds up to 30 push-ups
  • Intermediate PDF - builds up to 50 push-ups
  • Advanced PDF -  builds up to 100 push-ups
  • Create your own!  Pick a set amount to do each day. (40 push-ups a day will = 1,183 for the month)

​Last year we had 38 challengers, the more challengers that participate the faster we reach out goal 35,490 push-ups. 

28,146 push-ups were done in 2021 - that is not that far off from 35,490 if you get a few friends to join you!  Invite others to participate.
