What You Should Know
All participants must read and agree to the official Event Waiver
  1. This is about having FUN! You don't need to run! It's all at your pace.
  2. Color will get EVERYWHERE and we mean EVERYWHERE! The powder is safe, made from non-toxic paint and food grade material, but if you have respiratory problems, you may want to cover your mouth and nose. Sunglasses will not prevent powder from getting in your eyes. If you wear contacts or want to fully protect your eyes, goggles are your best bet. If you don't want to get colored at all, please run around and to the outside of the color stations.
  3. Children, even infants in strollers, are welcome. Please take special precautions as necessary, even strolling around the color stations to not get colored if you choose.
  4. Protect your car with towels or plastic bags. Vacuuming will get the dust out, though.
  5. If you want to preserve the color on your shirt, spray with vinegar and iron before washing.
  6. It is best to wear white so the colors really show, BUT we'd love to see your pizazz! Reveal your true colors with crazy shorts, socks, tutus or whatever your outrageous style is!
  7. Don't freak out but it may take a couple of good scrubbings to get all the colors off your nails and skin.
  8. Remember - 100% of the proceeds benefit victims, children, youth and teens of domestic violence, dating violence, bullying, sexual abuse and assault. Your dollars make a huge impact on our mission to end violence in Archuleta County.
